Create areas and area categories

Areas split a location into the parts you run separately. Call your main area Restaurant, then use area categories such as Kitchen and Bar inside it.

You'll do this from: head office

1. Click Locations, then Manage areas.
2. On the Areas tab, click New area, name it (for example Restaurant) and click Create.
3. On the Area categories tab, click New area category and add each one, for example Kitchen and Bar.
4. Go back to Locations and click Access location.
5. On the Areas tab, click Link an area, choose it and click Link.
6. Click edit to add an area manager. You only need this if a location has more than one area.
