Create a dish recipe

Build a dish from its ingredients and batch recipes, give it a selling price, and Misenplace shows its cost and gross profit.

You'll do this from: head office, inside a group

1. Click Products, then Access group, and open the Recipes tab.
2. Click New recipe, choose Dish as the type and click Create.
3. Give it a Recipe name, choose the Group Categories, the Recipe category (for example Medium plates) and add its PLU from your till.
4. Click Add Ingredient and add each ingredient with its quantity.
5. To use a batch recipe, click Add Ingredient, open the Subrecipe tab, choose the recipe and enter how much goes in, for example 50 g of aioli. Click Add SubRecipe.
6. Under Price Breakdown, enter the Gross price and VAT %. Misenplace shows the Total cost and Theoretical GP %.
7. Add the Method, Suitable For and allergens if you want them.
8. Click Save.

If the GP is lower than you want, change the price or the recipe before you save.
